 waits. Only a limited 1\,480 copies of the historic Book of Kells have bee
 n issued. Museums and universities around the world quickly purchased thes
 e famous copies except for one.   \n\nIrish Cultural Center member and val
 ley businessman\, Sean Lee\, owns the only known privately owned copy of t
 he Book of Kells\, which dates back to 800 AD. Born in Kells Ireland\, Mr.
  Lee has a personal connection to this famous book\, which was created by 
 the monks at Kells Monastery. The Book of Kells was stolen for its Jewels 
 on the cover and landed in a mud bog behind the home that Sean Lee grew up
 . Lee's copy is permanently on display in the Book of Kells Museum.  \n\nW
 ritten on velum in Latin by the Monks\, the 680-page Book of Kells records
  real estate transactions between the monastery and independent landowners
 . It served as seat of law\, learning and artistry as well as the recordin
