  ancient rock art sites\, the Deer Valley Rock Art Center is proud to anno
 unce a lecture and book signing with one of the foremost authorities on Eu
 ropean cave art\, the distinguished French prehistorian and archaeologist 
 Dr. Jean Clottes.  Dr. Clottes has worked for the French Ministry of Cultu
 re and researched many of the spectacular painted caves in France.  On Oct
 ober 22 from 4:00pm-6:00pm\, Dr. Clottes will participate in a book signin
 g at the Deer Valley Rock Art Center\, which will showcase recent publicat
 ions on the French site of Cosquer Cave and other rock art sites from arou
 nd the world.  Additionally\, on October 24 at 7:30pm\, Dr. Clottes will s
 peak at ASU's Great Hall on the relatively recent discovery of and first i
 n-depth research on Cosquer\, one of the most fascinating rock art sites i
