Arizona's hot drag troupe is looking for YOU! www.myspace.com/reigningmendragkings Call to schedule an audition appointment: 480-242-0827. Auditions will be integrated into a previously scheduled Reigning Men rehearsal. Reigning Femme: We are looking to add ONE female to our gender bending performance troupe made up predominantly of drag kings and male illusionists. We are seeking preferably a biological female, though would consider a drag queen or transexual who passes well. You should be able to move well, and we prefer someone with dance or performance experience. Though most of our performance is lip-synching, an ability to sing live a plus. You will perform solos, duets, and large group numbers as a female in a variety of Reigning Men shows. Partner dancing experience a plus. Reigning Men: We are looking to add ONE more drag king to our successful drag troupe. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Please contact us for more information. PREPARE: Reigning Femme: You will need to bring 2 songs total. Please prepare to lip-synch and perform 1 solo song of your choosing, and come prepared to perform 1 song from the following list with one of the Reigning Men: You're the One That I Want from Grease; Therapy from tick, tick...BOOM; A Whole New World from Aladdin; Elephant Love Song from Moulin Rouge; or Stay (cover with New Found Glory) by Lisa Loeb. Reigning Men: You will need to bring a total of 2 songs. Please be prepared to perform any solo of your choosing, and one song from the following list: Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley; Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid; New York, New York by Frank Sinatra; Burn by Usher; or American Idiot by Green Day. Please bring both your songs on CD. CREW: We are looking to add a permanent and stable backstage/tech crew to our troupe. We are very much in need of stage hands, ticket takers, and spotlight operators. No experience required, just dedication and professionalism.
