VYT will hold auditions for the A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail October 14 & 16 at 4:00 p.m. Based on the beloved stories by A.A. Milne, A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail has become a holiday tradition for the thirteen years VYT has produced it.

Valley Youth Theatre does not charge a fee to participate in our main stage productions, but we ask that parents and family volunteer to help with set construction, costumes and front of house during rehearsals and the run of the show.

Valley Youth Theatre, entering its 20th season of providing award-winning, world-class entertainment to the Valley, just announced a groundbreaking program which will allow the members of the cast and crew to earn $300 for each production that will be held in an account and used to attend post-secondary school. When the performer turns 18 and enters college, the money will be distributed throughout their college career. No other youth theatre in the country offers such a program.

 

Audition Specifics:

-Bring a photo with name, age, address and phone number on the back. School photos or home snapshots are accepted.

-Bring sheet music and perform one song or ballad. Accompaniment is provided.

-Please be prepared for a cold reading of the script

-Bring a performing arts resume or a list of prior performances, experience or special skills (if applicable).

-Dress in appropriate dance attire (we have changing areas) and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated during the audition process.
