Commercials for Teens will be held Saturday December 6 and December 13, 2008 from 9 am – noon. This class focuses on all aspects of commercial acting from slating and types, to cold reads and improv. Participants will work in front of the camera at all classes. This class also covers "The Business;" agents, casting directors, auditions, bookings, set etiquette and more. Course is $175 and is taught by Amanda Melby and Jennifer Pfalzgraff.

 Teens classes are open to students ages 12-17 and are limited in size to give each student individual attention. Adults classes are open to the professional actor, whether highly experienced or not, ages 18 and up. Classes are held in the 2nd floor Screening room of IFP Phoenix, 1700 N 7th Avenue, Phoenix 85007. A deposit and completed registration form is required to reserve space in class and discounts are available for returning private and/or group students.

Amanda Melby (Head Coach and Owner) created Verve Studios because she believes that an artist exists within every person. Her passion is finding and cultivating that artist. She teaches and coaches in a nurturing, safe and honest environment. She is professional actress and is a member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA. In addition, Ms. Melby is a film and television producer, is a Board Member of the Phoenix Chapter of AFTRA and SAG and is the Executive Director of the Independent Feature Project: Phoenix. She is pleased to have been nominated for three EMMYS® for her work as the host and Executive Producer of SCREEN WARS.
