Jack Dykinga began his photojournalism career with the Chicago Tribune. In 1971, as a member of the Chicago Sun Times staff, he won journalism’s highest award, the Pulitzer Prize, for feature photography. He came to Arizona in 1976 and five years later began his freelance career making landscape photographs.
