Add Review/CommentIn conjunction with the Scottsdale Arts Festival, the Scottsdale Public Art Program has commissioned a unique performance piece from artist Benoit Maubrey of Berlin, Germany. His work, Audio Ballerinas will feature dancers moving throughout the festival grounds while wearing high-tech costumes that emit sounds in response to their movements and immediate environment. This unique performance work will feature dancers performing throughout the Festival grounds in electro-acoustic tutus. The resultant sound is composed by the dancers' movements and interactions with festival goers and their environment, and emitted through speakers imbedded in the costumes.
