The Mesa Historical Museum has announced a day of fun activities especially planned for home school students and their families! Throughout the day, the museum will offer five fun stations of historic activities, in addition to the chance to explore the museum. The Mesa Historical Museum features six different exhibits on the history of Mesa. Searching for Mesa: Finding Ourselves in Our History offers a broad history of Mesa from its origins to the present day, shown through over 200 photos and artifacts. Thanks for Tuning In: The Wallace and Ladmo Show presents an historical look at this classic kids' show. Long-time residents will enjoy the nostalgia of this historic exhibition, while newer residents get a chance to see what all the hype is about. Other exhibitions include Scenes of Mesa, (large historic photos of downtown), the Little Adobe School House, two additional rooms on early life in Mesa, and a plethora of historic farm equipment. The Museum itself is housed in the historic Lehi School, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
