Add Review/CommentFrederick C. Corey discusses the relationship between art and social activism, particularly in terms of identity, race, sexuality and gender. Dr. Corey, director of the School of Letters and Sciences at ASU and a specialist in theories of communication, has long been interested in the subject of performance and the body, from his studies of Martha Graham's modern dance to his recent psychoanalytic interpretations of gender.
