Adam Richmond
May 16-May 17, 2008
Adam Richmond was one of the youngest touring headliners to come out of Canada in the year 2002. His high energy, and fearless stage presence has made him a favorite among colleges and clubs all around North America, as he now makes his way through the American Market. He resides in the entertainment capital of Los Angeles, and he can be seen performing regularly at such clubs as The Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store, in the Hollywood area. Adam has also gone global! Not only did he complete a tremendously successful USO tour for the American troops in Japan/Korea/Guam, he's added Australia to the list and has recently performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Helpful Information: Must be 21 years or older to enter this show. There is a $1 surcharge per ticket.

I attended the 8pm Friday night show at the Comedy Spot in Scottsdale. From the second we got there, we knew it was going to be fun. Friendly door staff, attentive waitress's and the talent was Top notch. There was an emcee, then an openener, a middle act and then the Guy everyone came out to see. ANT. Television doesn't do him justice. Very thin and small in person. He hit the stage running! It was laugh after laugh after laugh. My wife had never beeon to a live stand-up show and now she wants to go everyweek! ANT is a genuinly funny comedian, who not only delivers the goods onstage but off too. He let anyone who had a camera take pictures with him, signed autographs and was really really approachable. His tv image is slightly misleading. I was expecting a mean, catty man, instead what we got a guy who loves his crowds and will go out of his way for his fans. Awesome night! Collapse

The Originals provide, quite simply, the most important theatrical works since Canon Baldemar von Peterwell's productions of The Passion play in the mid 14th century. Originals shows are hilarious, moving, and they'll teach you how to use Wikipedia to look up "Canon Baldemar von Peterwell" or "The Passion play" or even "theatrical works of the mid 14th century". I plan to invest all of my income in tickets to The Originals shows, once I have some. . .income, that is, not The Originals shows. No person can own a The Originals show, as each belongs to The Universe, forged by destiny - and drink specials. If you see one improv show in the Phoenix area, it's simply GOT to be The Originals. If you see two improv shows - they should both be The Originals. Three or more improv shows, and you're on your own, friend. There's only so much direction that I can offer. I'm just a guide. All that you need, you now have. Use it! Go see The Originals! Collapse
