    The effects of meditation and creativity are one in the same: Inner peace, joy, a lightness of vitality, and a sense of being present. The relationship shared by these practices is the focus of this workshop. In collaboration, Britta Hallin, somatic artist, and Sarah McLean, meditation teacher, will guide participants through an exploration of their creative expression as revealed through meditation. She will awaken to their pure potential, re-connect them with their senses and the natural world, and clarify their intentions within their daily life. This is an opportunity to learn to meditate and expand an existing practice through silent and active meditations and art making. Through integrating meditation and art, participants will align with the body's natural rhythms, and create from this source. They will experience meditation as a way to draw attention inward, cultivating clarity in consciousness. From here, they will move with creativity as a way to connect their internal presence with the outside world. The rhythm of the breath and heartbeat will guide their authentic momentum as they place visual, sensory, and mental focus on the repetition of stringing seeds. As seeds hold the potential for life, participants will hold their own living potential within their hands, creating a bracelet that contains and reflects the energy of their innate life-force. This is a life empowering activity that will reveal their seeds of awakening.
