Add Review/CommentWelcome to Smithsonian Magazine's CultureFest. Free Lecture on Mexican Music given by Smithsonian scholar Gregorio Luke from 11:30am-12:30pm. Explore Mexican music's indigenous, Spanish and African rhythms and the styles they generate, featuring popular regional music and such composers as Manuel M. Ponce, Silvestre Revueltas, Carlos Chavez and Pablo Moncayo. Be entertained by a Mariachi band and the Ballet Foklorico Alegria on the Heritage Square Plaza from 11-11:30am and again from 12:30pm-2:00pm.
