An intimate, bittersweet, romantic play about the forging of a relationship between two middle-aged losers in love. This adult modern fairy tale is about a man and a woman leading humdrum lives in dreary surroundings. She's a shop-worn waitress scarred by an abusive relationship. He's a short order cook with a past that includes jail and a failed marriage. Yet, the connection of this seemingly mismatched pair shows that soul-healing love is available to all who seek it. Adult themes. Parental discretion advised.
