Located 30 minutes north of downtown Phoenix, the Pioneer Living History Village has over 90 acres of an old 1800s village, with no cars or smog - just original buildings and historically accurate reproductions. See the Opera House where Lilly Langtry sang; look through a rifle port in the actual cabin that survived Arizona's bloodiest range war; or browse through an 1890s dress shop and much more! All of this, plus a working blacksmith shop, critter corral, sheriff's office and jail, complete ranch complex, costumed interpreters, cowboys, lawmen and lovely Victorian ladies await at Arizona's most authentic Old West Town. Pioneer Arizona is recognized as an educational facility, a 'Classroom Without Walls,' where children learn to live and appreciate Arizona's Territorial Days (1880s - 1912 era).
