    Wild Wednesdays, a free, fun and educational series of activities give families looking for a cool way to spend their summer days a chance to beat the heat. Families are invited to walk-in anytime during the event and enjoy games, crafts, scavenger hunts, demonstrations, story times and/or music. The themes for each Wild Wednesday is as follows: June 18 - Go Sun Devils: Discover the awesome research and programs that are going on at Arizona State University. June 25 - Our Desert Home: Find out about the Southwest desert environment and ways to preserve it. July 2 - Patriot's Day: Honor America's independence. July 9 - Got Culture?: Celebrate Tempe's diverse community. July 16 - Building Tempe: Discover how Tempe has grown and changed over time. July 23 - To Protect and Serve: Recognize the important jobs performed by public safety officers.
