Second Annual Arizona Comedy Experiment
June 18, 2008
This event will showcase top comedians and comedy troupes from Arizona. The goal of the Experiment is to introduce the Phoenix Metro Area to different types of comedy and to educate the community on what phenomenal talent Arizona has to offer. The evening will culminate into a virtual smorgasbord of family-oriented comedy with performances from top improv comedy troupes; stand up comedians; sketch comedy groups and more. Scheduled performers include local favorites such as the Jester'Z, The Originals and The Ha Ha's improvisational comedy troupes and local headlining stand up comics including Travis Thurman, Jon Jesmer, Glenn Vrooman, Ken Kaz and sketch comedy from Tony Vicich's Comedy School in Scottsdale. 'This is a great way to get the artistic community together and showcase Valley Youth Theatre (VYT),' says Bobb Cooper, the Producing Artistic Director for VYT. 'Especially in light of the recent successes of VYT alumni Jordin Sparks in American Idol and Max Crumm in Grease.'

This was a great show. Seems like all the cast truly had a great time just as we did. Great voices. Geppetto had a great voice. should continue. The little Son was also great and cute.
