    It's going to be a red, white and Zoo family fun event at the Phoenix Zoo! Star Spangled Sports including the Sack Race, 3-legged Race, Hula Hoop Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest and more. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at Plaza de los Ninos from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There will be animal encounters during this time. Folding chairs will be set up for guests and there will be animal encounters while guests wait for the fireworks.
