Add Review/CommentChicano pop artists Patrick Murillo and Kathy Cano-Murillo are creating La Casa Murillo, a life size creation of the Murillos' fantasy home in the Lovena Ohl Gallery. The Murillos state, 'This exhibition is a way to manifest the excitement that we put into visual, cultural pieces that feel like Pop Rocks to your senses. We want to show people that it doesn't take a lot of money to make cool decorations.' The couple aims to inspire and educate others to create a unique setting. The Murillos will also host a series of public art workshops at the Heard Museum, in October and January.
