While not all the pieces are great, a few of them are brilliant. A couple of the paintings find a place between abstraction and surrealism and have a haunting quality. A couple others have an avante-garde edginess that might be more at home in a higher end New York gallery. Some new ground is being broken here. Collapse

This art is very good, and reasonably priced. A great opportunity for people who appreciate art, but not the high price tags. David uses color without fear.

I never miss a performance of Calo Flamenco. The company, under Artistic Director Martin Gaxiola and Musical Director Chris Burton Jacome, always brings exuberant passion, elegance and bravura footwork and music to their shows. Gaxiola takes full command of the stage and enraptures the audience with his sensual masculinity and incredible grace. His dancing never fails to whip an audience into a crescendo of sensations that always lead to them jumping to their feet in standing ovation. Calo Flamenco's performances are always something special, from the beautiful costumes, to the awe-inspiring dancing and incredible music. You owe it to yourself to go see them. It will definitely be a night to remember! Collapse

The cathedral setting at Saint Thomas Aquinas is one that is not found in the Phoenix metro area. I found myself in awe when visiting this beautiful Church. I was impressed with the quality of music offered at Saint Thomas Aquinas. The music program, from what I can see, is the premier program in the West Valley. The music director is a gifted, young, energetic and supurb organist. The art, from what I've heard, a passion of the Pastor, can not be given justice with words. My wife and I were shocked upon entering the Church at the beautiful, tradition setting - - and the music to match!! Kudos to Saint Thomas Aquinas, their music staff, and especially the Pastor, for realizing the need for true artistic culture in the Valley of the Sun. Keep up the good work! You have the support of many music and arts lovers from across the valley! Collapse
