From scat and traditional jazz vocals to Latin jazz, the B3 organ and Bobby Hutcherson's mastery of the vibraphone, the 27th annual Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival brings together a diverse and eclectic mix of jazz artists and an expanded-event schedule at locations throughout Sedona. The festival's schedule is as follows: September 23, 5:15pm - Dinner and film $45, 7:00pm; Film Trying to Get Good: The Jazz Odyssey of Jack Sheldon. Harkins Theatre, 2081 West Highway 89A. September 25-27, 3:00pm-6:00pm - JOR Youth Band concert followed by a jam session with youth and local musicians at the Bistro Bella Terra (101 North Highway 89A), Free Admission September 26, 7:30pm - Pianist Kenny Werner at the Creative Life Center (333 Schnebly Hill Road). $50. September 26, 7:30pm - Vocalist Jeff Baker at the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa (90 Ridge Trail Drive). $80. September 27, 10:00am - Enjoy an all-day outdoor festival featuring Bobby Hutcherson Quintet, vocalist Giacomo Gates, B3 organist Tony Monaco, Cinco de Moio with vocalist Salome and the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Youth Jazz Band.
