Social Studies: Project 4
February 17-July 26, 2009
Social Studies opens the creative process by giving a gallery to an artist who considers social interaction a crucial part of their art making. Visitors are invited to participate with the artist to create the objects and installations that form the exhibition, or to observe and question the process. Brazilian Jarbas Lopes and San Francisco-based Josh Greene, the first artists to participate in the initiative, worked with many of you in the galleries in 2007-2008. Helpful Information: The Opening Reception will take place Friday, February 20 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

I just rented this movie. To be honest, I rented it because of Peter Falk and Laura San Giacomo. It wasn't until later that I saw that it won best picture at the 2005 Phoenix Film Festival. Thank you for allowing movies like this to be exposed to the public. What a delightful movie!!!! I have never been to your film festival, but if this movie represents the quality of your festival, WOW!!! It is to late for me to attend this year, but I'll be there next year. Again, thank you.
