Add Review/CommentDesert Dance Theatre celebrates 30 years of dance in Arizona. This reunion of dancers bring back some nostalgic memories as well as introducing and new phase of the company's growth in these current times. Look to the future with exciting collaborations with many guest artists. The performance will feature choreography by Laurie Eisenhower (artistic director of Eisenhower Dance Ensemble in Michigan), Phyllis Haskell (former member of Ririe Woodbury Dance Company in Utah), Marion Kirk Jones, Billbob Brown, Step Raptis and Lisa R. Chow (past and present artistic directors of Desert Dance Theatre). The company will premiere a new work in collaboration with special guest New York guitarist, Chieli Minucci from Special EFX and Arizona bronze sculpture artist, John Henry Waddell. Another premiere work will feature a collaboration with visual artist, Gary Hostellero and original music by Step Raptis. Image Credit: Heather Hill
