Lavay Smith is internationally recognized as the queen of classic jazz and blues in the authentic style of the 1940s and 1950s. Lavay's last album received a prestigious 4 1/2 Star review in DownBeat Magazine and reached the Top 10 on the National Billboard Jazz Charts. Seriously, though, this is an amazing band and they have never done a swing dance event in Arizona before. Important Information: Dress code is resort casual (no jeans, no sweats, and no t-shirts). Swing lessons begin at 7:00pm, and live musical performance and open dance begins at 8:00pm.
