This timely presentation comes during this presidential election year, which finds journalists inundated with announcements of results of political polls. Bruce Merrill, professor emeritus at the Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and director of the Cronkite/Eight poll, will present Valley journalists and journalism students with ways to tell legitimate, scientifically produced polls from polls with an agenda.
