"Romantic Comedy -- humorous, poignant and just plain fun!"

The Desert Foothills Theater production of “Romantic Comedy” was a “HOME RUN”!!! The play was humorous, poignant and just plain fun. In addition, the set was beautifully constructed and quite elaborate for a small production company like DFT. They really out did themselves. All of the actors were good, but Tracy Timm absolutely stole the show. Although she is a diminutive person, her stage personality filled the theater. She was excellent! (Her prior drama coaches should be proud.) My only regret is that I did not see the show earlier in its run because I would have encouraged all of my friends and acquaintances see “Romantic Comedy” before it closed. When shows are this good, they deserve a packed house every night. Stay tuned for the next production from Desert Foothills Theater! You don’t want to miss another great show. Collapse

Romantic Comedy was delightful!! The male lead was fabulous, especially when he did the towel manuver, as was the female lead. And Blanche always knows how to exit a room!! Lots of laughs, very heartwarming. The set was beautiful too. The "Black Box" Theater at Desert Foothills is wonderfully intimate. Terrific way to spend an evening. Collapse

I went to see the "wedding" with some of my girlfriends and we weren't sure what to expect as we had never heard of the show nor seen it before. The show starts off a bit slow, but before you know it you're laughing through most of the play. The set was really well done...lots of detail...looked rather high budget. The actors did a superb job and they give you a little bit of a treat at the end which was hysterical. I wont tell you what it is as not spoil the surprise! I really enjoyed the housekeeper, and the two male leads were top notch also very funny to watch! Kudos to the theater and director for putting on a great show. I had just seen Gypsy there and this one is much more enjoyable! The only thing missing was a piece of wedding cake to eat during the performance. I may take my mom to see it before it closes! This will be the one wedding my mom wont cry at! Worth the money! Go SEE IT ! Collapse

The Desert Foothills Theater Group is BACK!!! Their latest performance of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change!" is definitely a hit! The script is clever, the actors are VERY talented and the live piano and violin music are delightful. The performance was absolutely captivating. Members of the audience were quickly pulled in to the vignettes and could not help but chuckle at some points and laugh out loud at others. I have not laughed to the point of tears in a long time and it felt great. Thanks for providing so much enjoyment! The ticket price of $18 is a steal and there is also a $20 special for Valentine's Day weekend which includes a few goodies. Don't miss this show! You will laugh at the high points and sigh at the poignant scenes. Collapse
