Add Review/CommentCelebrate the influence of French composer Olivier Messiaen's centennial year with works by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and former Messiaen student, William Bolcom, who will be in attendance. Before the performance will be a pre-concert lecture at 6:15pm by Alex Ross, music critic for The New Yorker and author of The Rest is Noise. Following the concert at 9:30pm, there will be a post-concert screening of Paul Festa's film, Apparition of the Eternal Church, exploring listeners' reactions to Messiaen's music.
