Add Review/CommentWith the recent critical success and popularity of adult focused cartoons like The Simpsons and South Park and whimsical anime feature films like My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away, images often associated with childhood are being re-evaluated and are playing an increasingly influential role in contemporary society. Viewed through a 21st century lens characterized by energy, cynicism, irony and hope, The Trouble with Boys and Girls features four contemporary ceramic artists who use childhood images to tackle complex themes like feminism, sexuality, stress and pure enjoyment. Artists featured in this exhibit are Rebekah Bogard, Cynthia Consentino, Jason Huff and Max Lehman.
