The LAP (Lindy And Party) Dance Weekend is a first annual Lindy Hop event put on by Doug Silton and Ben Morris. This event is all about, well, Lindy Hop and Partying and it includes: 30+ hours of social dancing, Jack & Jill competitions with no extra entry fees, Hospitality Room with booze (21+), Pool Parties, A water-park (with a bar) with a long lazy-river, Specialty Classes. Lindy hop, music theory, jazz, Charleston, other stuff, and $3000 in prize money.

It sounds like alot of fun and an EXCELLENT time! This is so clever and fun of an idea in itself, to begin with. I am TOTALLY impressed and happy for this entire concept! Good for you... good for all of us!!! I wish I could go this year but, cannot. I am sure, however, that I WILL be anticipating the very next opportunity anxiously. I mean this sincerely!! Have fun and I wish I could be there this year but am happy for whomever does get to attend. I know you will have major fun! And once again... FAR OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Collapse
