Comedy is back at Copperstate. When a voluptuous new neighbor moves in, Doc Berger wants the family out of his hair for the weekend, but his wife, his daughter, her new beau, a male nurse, a ditzy office assistant and an official from the Center for Disease Control have other ideas. Trust Me, I'm a Doctor is a world premier by the 'valley's premier farceur' Peter J. Hill.

This is my 7th time back at this dinner theater and again the meal is the best dinner theater value in town. There were some talented actors on stage (some not so talented),BUT, what a mish mash of a story. Nothing new here just the worst of the farce type material. Not everyone is talented enough to write a play and this is an example of the worst. Collapse

This was my second time attending a show at this venue. The current show was very silly, and I mean that in the good sense of the term. It's your basic story where several people are trying to be sneaky, without much success, and some poor girl winds up running around in her underwear; but it makes sense, in a way. Much is made, comedically of the one character being a MALE nurse, not that there's anything wrong with that. Hey, I've spent more than $40 going to dinner and a movie, and enjoyed it a lot less. I would say that this show was very well cast. The randy doctor was a believably silly, middle aged fellow, the sultry neighbor was sufficiently sultry, and the doc's daughter turned in a fine performance. The daughter's boyfriend was just right for the "drag" portion of the hilarity, and whoever played the ditzy redhead certainly had her work cut out for her, dropping papers one moment and cleverly wrong words the next. This show was quite delightful, IMHO. Collapse
