Add Review/CommentWest Valley Art Museum plays host to a group of painters in August that not only have the French Impressionists in common with the way they practice their art but are also active on the preservation of environment front. Arizona Plein Air Painters (also known as APAP) is a state wide fellowship of artists dedicated to practicing and promoting the tradition of plein air painting. The members work in partnership with state and federal organizations to protect public access that preserves landscapes and historic areas within the state, promoting the diversity of Arizona's land, history, and cultures. APAP is also dedicated to the importance of art education and welcomes all persons wanting to be involved in learning, supporting, and strengthening the arts.
