Do yourself a favor and go see this new company. It's polished, technically proficient, and presenting choreography that's pleasingly sophisticated. "Omnes Generations", choreographed by Emery LeCrone was worth the price of admission on its own. In this dance, the dancers had to work against everything they have ever been taught about performng. They had to pull back from making a complete extension on an arabesque or collapse into each others arms before a movement was completed. Fully dependent on each other, yet removed from each other. A unique use of energy. This troop would do well to continue making departures from the norm. Unfortunately a few numbers fell into the show-offy, self absorbed sort of dance that forces us to clap at a well-performed trick. Also, they are beautiful dancers to watch, but occasionally one almost wants them to admit some of life is ugly and to stop already with the long extended arms, arabesques, and trite runs off the stage with one arm trailing behind.
