A memorial to victims of family violence, Domestic Arsenal uses common household objects to reference trauma. A mound of 365 cast toys, furniture and other ordinary items take on a formidable presence as an arsenal that could be misused to inflict harm. On the walls surrounding the debris pile are newspaper articles citing cases of domestic violence. Artist Eileen Doktorski is a 2009 Dr. Ruth Tan Lim Project Room proposal winner.
