Celebrating young Americans with: magicians, clowns, Ballet Arizona, Fiesta Mexicana, Ronald McDonald and a special appearance by Sponge Bob Square Pants! Over 72 cities in the United States celebrate this tradition and with the help of the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department and Latino Institute the 'El Día De Los Niños' festival is in its eighth year. In 2004 over 4,000 children and adults enjoyed all the activities offered at the event.
