Add Review/CommentThis wild, comedic and poignant ride into self-understanding follows one woman's journey from Santiago, Chile, to fabled Hollywood, California. Rosalinda patterns her behavior - and expectations - on the glamorous Hollywood films that reach her neighborhood theater. Instead of the magic of the movies, she finds an impersonal city of hustle and mayhem. Even her silver screen idol - Rock Hudson, whom she calls upon for guidance in her fantasies - cannot offer the escape from reality she seeks. She must confront her own fear of relationships, her unwillingness to love a man who cannot conform to her illusions, and her inability to settle for less. A true comedic tale based on the playwright's family. Names and events altered, dramatized and fictionalized to protect just about everyone. Appropriate for mature audiences. Credits: By Guillermo Reyes. Directed by Erma Duricko. Photos by Tim Trumble.
