Welcome to the Sedona Arts Festival! The Sedona Arts Festival is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and funding the arts in Sedona held the 2nd weekend of October. We feature over 110 of the nation's finest artists and craftspersons, continuous live entertainment, a raffle with great prizes, a Kidzone, the Barbara Antonsen Sedona Artist Invitational and more! The feature attraction of the Festival is a tightly juried show of original artwork in 12 categories: glass, jewelry, painting, sculpture, wood, metal, mixed media, fiber, photography, graphics/paper, ceramics and drawing. Come share in all the fun at our 14th annual event. All our proceeds from admissions support arts and cultural programming within Sedona schools. Live entertainment is one of the highlights of the Sedona Arts Festival. The Sedona Arts Festival's entertainment roster is made up entirely of groups who live and work in Sedona and the Verde Valley. The Main Stage performers offer a terrific variety of musical options - our acts ranged from barbershop, new age, jazz, and blues; to country. Performance artists include Martha Redbone, who most recently sang with Bonnie Raitt at the 2005 New Orleans Jazz Festival; Jeordie Schekeryk, the daughter of 60's songstress Melanie; Grammy winner Micki Free; New Potatoes, a Celtic music band from Prescott; and the duo Lyra, a touring ensemble for the Arizona Commission on the Arts that performs classics from the 18th century to the modern Southwest. The performance schedule is as follows: Saturday, Oct. 8: The New Potatoes, 11:00am-12:30pm; Lyra, 1:00pm-2:30pm; Jeordie, 3:00pm-4:30pm Sunday, Oct. 9: Martha Redbone, 12:30pm-1:30pm, Micki Free, 2:00pm-3:00pm Festival Location: Sedona Red Rock High School, located at the intersection of West Highway 89A in Sedona and Upper Red Rock Loop Road, Sedona, AZ. For directions, contact us. Parking: Ample free parking right across the street from the High School at the Sedona Cultural Park.
