A pert and passionate play - Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive) presents THE OLDEST PROFESSION, a story of five aging prostitutes whose clientele are literally a dying breed. The time is 1981, shortly after the election of Ronald Reagan. The place is a sunny park bench in Verdi Square, 72nd Street & Broadway, NYC. They are five "working girls" at the end of their very long careers; businesswomen with indisputably aching joints. With humor, wit and compassion, Vogel honors the indelibility of the human spirit, irrespective of society’s standards of conventional respectability.

What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great acting, great story. All the ladies did a grand job. The piano player was gorgeous!!!
