Add Review/CommentThe Arizona Museum for Youth's circumpolar Inuit exhibit of approximately 60 pieces presents a wide range of traditional and contemporary Inuit art and artifact borrowed extensively from the Albrecht Collection of Inuit Art at the Heard Museum. The Art Gallery is divided into five areas, complete with hands-on activities to enhance the experience--traditional Inuit board-games, design-it-yourself narrative wall-hangings, an Inuit-legend puppet show, an interlocking arctic-animal floor puzzle, and a 'stone-print' rubbing. In ArtVille, children 4 and under craft Inuit finger masks and perform a puppet show. This event is part of Fiesta de Los Niņos, a month long event promoting cultural literacy for children and families by the Maricopa Partnership for Arts and Culture.
