Set in an island paradise during World War II, Rodgers and Hammerstein's celebrated collaboration parallels two love stories threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. Based on James Michener's Tales of the South Pacific, this multiple Tony Award winner yields such classic songs as 'Younger than Springtime,' 'Some Enchanted Evening,' 'There is Nothin' Like a Dame,' and 'Bali Ha'i.'
