July 1966: Ella Fitzgerald, one of popular music's most beloved stars, is rehearsing on the stage of a concert hall in Nice, on the French Riviera. A theatrical event that weaves myth and memory, comedy and drama, mystery and music, Ella brings you close to a legendary woman whom everyone adored, but few ever knew. Fall in love all over again with the amazing voice and soul of Ella Fitzgerald in this unforgettable musical starring Tina Fabrique as Ella and featuring beloved hits like 'That Old Black Magic,' 'A-Tiskit, A-Tasket,' 'How High the Moon,' and 'They Can't Take That Away From Me'.         I was taken to see this show out of the blue, and it was a wonderful time. The set was simple and lovely, the lighting was thoughtful and well done, and most importantly the music was spectacular! If... Expand

If you have an evening free, please make sure that you head out to the Mesa Arts Center to view this touching tribute to the leading lady of song! Collapse
