Guys and Dolls will be re-imagined for the Phoenix Theatre stage. The unforgettable music of Frank Loesser brings to life Damon Runyon's story of New York in the 1940's, inhabited by gamblers and nightclub performers, as the Salvation Army tries to deliver a message of redemption to this sinful Times Square population.

I just saw this show and it was wonderful. Then again, one should not expect anything less from Phoenix Theatre, as they often mount quality productions. The entire cast was very talented, although I must admit the standouts were Beau Heckman as Benny Southstreet, Robert Kolby Harper as Nicely, and Kristen Drathman as Adelaide. All three are wonderful character actors and witty on-stage. The only thing I really felt lacking was chemistry between the romantic leads (Adelaide and Nathan, as well as Sarah and Sky). Other than that, congrats to the all involved on putting on a terrific show. The audience truely enjoys it! Collapse
