Add Review/CommentTake a vaudevillian romp through Ancient Rome with this rollicking farce about a crafty slave named Pseudolus who schemes to win the hand of a beautiful--but slow-witted--courtesan for his master, in exchange for freedom. Bursting with infectious energy and slightly-naughty fun, this madcap tale features slaves, masters, beautiful dancing girls, chases, the Roman Army and a topsy-turvy plot. Zany characters and an outrageous book by Larry Gelbart and Burt Shevelove combine with witty songs like 'Comedy Tonight' and 'Everybody Ought To Have A Maid' by Stephen Sondheim. There's something for everyone-a comedy tonight! Terry Helland directs. May not be suitable for younger children.
