The Originals are the Valley's newest, and most exciting improvisational comedy troupe. The troupe is made up of the cream of the Valley's new talent, as well as some of the longest performing and most successful improv veterans in Arizona. They combine a mixture of short-form improv (The BBC's Who's Line Is It Anyway?), long-form improv (HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and Chicago's famous 'Improv-Olympic') and cutting edge sketch comedy (Chicago's The Second City). At an Originals show, YOU in the audience are the writers. You give them the raw material, and then they go to work, spontaneously bringing those ideas to life. The result will absolutely blow you away; a night of sidesplitting laughter and good times. The Originals will rip you out of your seats! Come ready to have an amazing time. With intelligence and wit, they keep coming at you from start to finish; unhinged, uninhibited, and deranged. The Originals perform an improvisational style unique to the Valley; a little bit Chicago, a little bit New York, a little bit sans Prozac. The Originals believe in power improv theater, uncensored and uninfluenced by judgementalism. While just doing 'blue' humor for the sake of doing 'blue' humor is sad and not funny, they do not censor themselves. Life happens. So lighten up, and let The Originals take it from here...

    I say this, b/c I thought this show was just like a factory. Producing comedy gold 100% of the time. I had a great time and look forward to NEXT week's show!!!

    Couldn't believe how amazing these guys were. I had people in from out of town and what a wonderful way to end thier stay here! I loved that we were able to make the show what we wanted!

    The Originals provide, quite simply, the most important theatrical works since Canon Baldemar von Peterwell's productions of The Passion play in the mid 14th century. Originals shows are hilarious, moving, and they'll teach you how to use Wikipedia to look up "Canon Baldemar von Peterwell" or "The Passion play" or even "theatrical works of the mid 14th century". I plan to invest all of my income in tickets to The Originals shows, once I have some. . .income, that is, not The Originals shows. No person can own a The Originals show, as each belongs to The Universe, forged by destiny - and drink specials. If you see one improv show in the Phoenix area, it's simply GOT to be The Originals. If you see two improv shows - they should both be The Originals. Three or more improv shows, and you're on your own, friend. There's only so much direction that I can offer. I'm just a guide. All that you need, you now have. Use it! Go see The Originals! Collapse

    Such a funny show! I had never been to an improv show before and at first I wasn't sure what to expect. It was honestly the hardest I have ever laughed!!
