Experience the new Taliesin tour that includes a stop at a desert shelter, one of the experimental housing concepts created by the students in the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as the sun sets. Then join Dr. Anthony Brown with Jerry Donato, Dwight Kilian, Charles Lewis, Don Littleton and Paul-Eirik Melhus, as he leads a concert and commentary on the history of Latin jazz, with reflections on the early confluence of Caribbean music with jazz - including Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington's 'Caravan,' through Mario Bauza with Machito and his Afro-Cubans, up to the present wave of Latin young lions and resurgence following the Buena Vista Social Club. Admission Information: Reservation and ticket required. For reservations call (202) 357-3030 or visit www.residentassociates.org and please refer to event code AZW-104.
