    A lot can happen in just one year. Opening it's doors for the very first time on First Friday, November 4th, 2005, Soul Invictus Gallery and Cabaret as since helped to bring a whole new energy to the downtown art-friendly strip of Grand Avenue. Recently voted Best Place To Catch a Queer-Friendly Show, as well as the Reader's Choice for Best Place to Hang Out on First Friday, by the Phoenix New Times, it has played host to art exhibits, theater, concerts, film screenings, nude body-painting, performance artists, dance troupes and more. To celebrate, Soul Invictus Artist Collaborative will be blowing out all the stops for its One Year Anniversary Show on First Friday, November 3, 2006. Scheduled to perform will be a wide variety of acts, including Celt-folk rockers Haiku Rd., all-girl hell-raisers The Pubes, Punk-rock bad boys Drunk On Tuesday and Electronic Indie-rockers A Cheetah Named Vegas. Also making an appearance will be burlesque beauties The Voodoo Betties, along with fire spinners, jugglers, body painters, a special encore midnight presentation of Scream Queens: The Musical and a few other special surprises.
