Light Up The Night…and be dazzled at the APS Fantasy of Lights Holiday Boat Parade. Join the 6th year of the most unique holiday event in the Valley---a lighted boat parade! This year's APS Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade at Tempe Town Lake will be even more unique because the event will feature the first-ever grand illumination of the METRO Tempe Town Lake Bridge! The 1,645-foot span, which connects the East Valley and central Phoenix portions of the light rail system, also constitutes METRO's largest art installation. As vehicles pass over the bridge, an LED display of lights will create changing patterns and colors. The grand illumination of the METRO Tempe Town Lake Bridge will feature a unique design by bridge artist Buster Simpson and will be a once-in-a-lifetime kickoff to the 2006 APS Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade.
