Bring the whole family down for the 24th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Faire. The Phoenix St. Patrick's Day Parade began in 1984. Its purpose is to preserve and enhance the heritage and traditions of the Irish Culture as well as share that culture with the citizens of Arizona. The Parade has marching bands, Irish step dancers, bagpipers, police and fire vehicles, government dignitaries, floats, the 2007 Arizona Irish Colleen with her Court and a whole lot more. The theme for this year's Parade is the legend of “Tír na nÓg” which means “Land of Eternal Youth.” The Irish Faire will be featuring two stages of Irish Music, Irish Step dancing, Bagpipers, Food and Beverages, Irish Crafts and Merchandise, Genealogy, Irish Clubs, and Children’s Area.
