Add Review/CommentThis exhibit will feature the extravagant ceramic works of George Alexander and the glorious watercolors of David Barba. The art of both artists explode with the vibrant flowers and the hues of spring. Alexander's elaborate vases, bowls, wall reliefs and columns are ornamented with flowers, fruits, vines, over surfaces covered with intricate patterns and layered with sumptuous, riotous color. Extremely complex and labor intensive, his work has a distinctive style that is truly unique. Barba's floral are large and up close, depicting blossoms in all their glory. The viewer is engulfed by the brilliant color and beauty of the flowers. Barba's paintings remind us of the joy of slowing down and smelling the flower.
