The Arizona Museum for Youth presents 'Youth at Risk: Tumbleweed Printmaking Project,' an exhibit featuring monotype prints created by at-risk youth in Maricopa County. In February, the museum hosted four printmaking workshops, led by artist-in-residence Damian Charette and held in collaboration with the Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development of Phoenix and Essential Theatre of Tempe. The workshops were funded in part through a grant from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. As a result of the collaborative pilot project, Tumbleweed clients created their own artwork to display in the museum's new South Gallery, with each print highlighting the transformative power of creativity.
