Add Review/CommentThe Gratitude Train, also known as the 'Merci Train,' was a response by the French people to the food shipments sent by America to France and other western European countries after the end of World War II. Thousands of grateful French citizens thanked Americans by sending the only possessions they had - their own personal treasures and mementos. Image Credit: Taylor Arrazola
