The Importance of Being Earnest is the story of the formidable Lady Bracknell (one of theatre's most enduring and hilarious comic characters) who is loathe to let her daughter marry a man with no parents. If a happy ending is to be reached, it may only be after enduring the many twists that accompany deception.
